Our Mission

What is the Carolina Summer Circuit?

The Carolina Summer Circuit (CSC) was developed to encourage participation at smaller, Carolina-based horse shows and to establish goals for exhibitors and trainers.  Focusing on creating a competitive environment where everyone can have fun working towards qualifying for one championship night at the end of the show season.  Qualify by competing in at least 5 classes at a minimum of 3 qualifying shows FOR 2021: 4 classes at 2 shows throughout the year and you’re in!  The NC State Fair classes qualify for the Carolina Summer Circuit Championships that same year. .  Since the regular academy classes are after the Friday night  Championships they will count as qualifying for the following year.

The CSC Championship

Fun competition, great prizes and a chance to end your show season a champion!  We are held in conjunction with the NC State Fair in Raleigh, NC in October each year.  Other than qualifying, no other requirements must be met.   .

→Qualify with only 5 classes at 3 shows. For 2021: 4 classes at 2 shows

→No memberships required

→USEF rated show

→Do not have to declare a division prior to the CSC Championship

→Virginia and Tennessee shows added (see “Qualifying Shows” for more info)

Look for your CSC Championship Prize List in conjunction with the NC State Fair Prize List.  Web Site www.FairSaddlebredShow.com closer to show time.  Entry deadline for the

CSC Championship coincides with that of the NC State Fair.
